On October 19 this year, giant pandas "Jingjing" and "Sihai" arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from Sichuan, China, by special plane, "stayed" in the Khor Panda House, and then quarantined. According to the giant panda conservation and research cooperation agreement reached between China and Qatar, these two giant pandas will live in Qatar for the next 15 years. This is the first pair of giant pandas welcomed in the Middle East.

According to news, Khor Panda House is located in Khor Park, 50 kilometers north of Doha, the capital of Qatar. It was built in 1983 and is one of the oldest parks in Qatar.


This specially built panda house has a very large building area, including bedrooms, a playground and so on. In order to ensure the normal reproduction, food supply and medical safety of giant pandas, there are also special nursery rooms, treatment rooms, food preparation rooms, bamboo fresh-keeping rooms, security monitoring rooms, etc. to meet their diverse living needs.

The World Cup in Qatar will open on November 20, and the opening of two Chinese giant pandas to the public will add more "Chinese elements" to the World Cup.
