Description: White Prilocaine powder cas 721-50-6 is an amide-type LA of fast onset and intermediate duration of action. White Prilocaine powder cas 721-50-6 is similar to that of lidocaine, being rapidly metabolized by the liver and excreted in the urine as o-toluidine. The main adverse effect of prilocaine is a dose-dependent production of methaemoglobinaemia resulting in impaired oxygen-carrying capacity. Cyanosis may occur 2–3 hours following administration. The local and systemic adverse effects of prilocaine on the CNS and heart are similar to those of lidocaine.
