Plant Extract Urolithin A

 brief introduction

Urolithin A is a secondary metabolite produced by the intestinal microbiome, a natural polyphenolic compound ellagitannin. After ingestion of foods containing ellagitannins (e.g., pomegranates, raspberries, blueberries, etc.), these precursors are converted into urolithin A by microorganisms in the gut.

 Application 

1.Urolithin A can reduce the activity of telomerase, thereby delaying cell senescence. It can also promote the function of mitochondria and improve the energy metabolism level of cells, thereby achieving the effect of delaying aging.
