Acetylated Glutathione is an acetylated derivative of reduced glutathione. Main components

Acetylated glutathione shares the same composition as reduced glutathione, consisting of three amino acids-L-glutamic acid, L-cysteine, and glycine-linked by peptide bonds. However, unlike natural glutathione, it possesses a unique structure: -glutamic acid, L-cysteine, and glycine linked by peptide bonds. However, unlike natural glutathione, the thiol group (-SH) of the L-cysteine residue in reduced glutathione undergoes acetylation modification, which distinguishes it.
