What is UVT-150?
"UVT-150" is the English expression for ultraviolet absorber. UV absorbers are a class of chemicals that absorb UV radiation and are often used in products and materials to reduce or prevent the adverse effects of UV rays on these substances.
UV absorbers are widely used in many products such as cosmetics, plastic products, coatings, and textiles. These substances can absorb UV radiation and convert it into heat energy or otherwise disperse it, thereby protecting the product or material from UV damage, extending its service life, and preventing problems such as color fading, aging or deterioration.

Chemical Name:
"Ethylhexyl triazone" is the InCI name of "UVT-150". This is an ultraviolet (UV) filter and absorber for sun protection.
Performance features:
Clinical studies have shown that UVT-150 is highly photostable and displays extremely high ultraviolet B (UVB) absorption, especially when compared to other common UV filters.
Photostability:
Investigations have shown that UVT-150 can significantly increase the sun protection factor (SPF) of the final product even at low concentrations in sunscreen formulations.
Synergy:
Some studies have pointed out that the effect of UVT-150 is particularly significant when working in synergy with zinc oxide. This may mean it is more effective when used with other sunscreen ingredients.
