3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbic acid is a stable derivative of vitamin C, which is a white to off white powder or crystal. As a lipophilic and hydrophilic amphoteric VC derivative, 3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbic acid can be easily used in formulations and can penetrate the stratum corneum into the dermis. After entering the skin, it is easily broken down by biological enzymes to exert the effect of vitamin C, thereby improving its bioavailability.

Application

3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbac acid is a cosmetic tyrosinase inhibitor with whitening ability, which can inhibit the production of melanin and effectively whiten the skin. 3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbac acid has antioxidant ability and can improve the oxidative stress response of the skin caused by UV exposure, such as DNA damage and skin immune system suppression. 3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbac acid can promote collagen synthesis and therefore has significant anti-aging effects. 3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbic acid can also be used in gel, essence, lotion, cream and other whitening and freckle removing, anti-aging and other skin care products to improve the skin care effect of the product.
